Does the above describe you? If so, Delaware North Sportservice at New Era Field and key Bank Center wants you to apply for an internship with our IT team! You will work with the IT Manager and fellow Intern to oversee our technology footprint within the stadium gaining hands-on experience supporting: PC’s, cell phones, tablets, network infrastructure and other general stadium systems, software and hardware. Our goal is ensuring 100% operational efficiency and service to our fans as well as internal staff.
This position requires a highly flexible schedule, working nights, weekends and holidays during the season. This is a highly challenging but highly rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced ever-evolving environment. You will be looked at to help improve our operation with ideas and processes that may be new to the environment. This is a seasonal position working regularly within the football and hockey season, part of the offseason and with the opportunity to return for the next season. Only those that have the ability to work independently and within a team environment need to consider this opportunity.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
-Maintaining an understanding of our POS systems and maintenance of knowledge base to help ensure complete uptime of environments
-Responding promptly to technical support requests via request system
-Emails and phone calls; troubleshooting errors on location quickly and independently
-Installing, configuring and supporting: PC’s, mobile devices, tablets and other devices
-Assisting in the management of asset inventory
-Assisting in maintaining solutions in knowledge base system
-Following standard operating procedures
-Contributing creative solutions
-Creating, editing and maintaining user accounts
