What you will be doing:

  • Be a part of the US Benefits team assisting in the administration and support of various employee benefits plan offerings

  • Key contributor with the annual Open Enrollment process

  • Primary contact for all benefit inquiries/escalations. Assist and support employees with issue resolution and troubleshooting with any benefit related concern either internally or with benefit partner

  • Act as the US benefits subject matter expert

  • Assists employees with problem claims and/or appeals

  • Assists in preparing materials and presenting benefit plan changes to employees

  • Helps ensure compliance with all governmental regulations related to benefits programs, including ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements, FMLA, HIPAA

What you will need:

  • 5 years of Benefit experience and college degree preferred

  • Knowledgeable of health and welfare benefits and retirement plans as well as practices and procedures including, but not limited to, disability programs, life insurance, medical plan concepts, welfare programs, FMLA, HIPAA, and ERISA

  • Ability to apply analytical and decision-making skills to support benefit policies and company philosophy

  • Ability to prioritize work, handle details accurately and ensure timely follow up with minimum supervision

  • High level of both written and verbal communication

  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and vendors
