Your Role

As a Clean Energy Intern, you will leverage your passion for clean energy and sustainability to provide Thielsch with clean energy initiatives that we can implement. Your role will report to RISE Engineering, a division of The RISE Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will conduct research and write summaries on emerging clean energy topics and legislation that impacts the company and RISE Engineering's service territory.
  • You will assist with renewable proposal and marketing efforts, such as:
    • Assist with identifying and qualifying potential sites.
    • Draft layouts and production estimates.
    • Assist with drafting and presenting proposals.
  • You will assist with comprehensive proposal development
    • Assist with creating proposal documentation leveraging RISE's suite of services.
  • You will support our project team with proposals for cooperative and state program qualifications.
  • Assist with other related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You are proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The successful candidate will demonstrate

  • Passion for environmental protection and limiting climate change
  • Knowledge of and interest in renewable energy and energy efficiency
  • Ability to effectively research climate transition-related incentives at state levels

Additional Qualifications/Skills that will be helpful

  • You have experience with financial statement analysis and financial mathematics
  • You have experience with data analytics and data visualization experience.
