Job Summary
This position is responsible for supervising employees as well as leading daily operations and coordination of activities for their team. This role will work closely with management to provide resources, on-going work direction, decision making and problem solving to ensure the safe delivery of quality product on time to the customer (internal and external).

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce standard work across all areas of responsibility
  • Drive continuous improvement activities in all functional areas
  • Provide leadership in selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operations
  • Organize activities & assign jobs according to the business requirements
  • Work with plant management to assign, direct, review and monitor work to maximize productivity within all areas of responsibility
  • Motivate and develop employees into an effective and efficient team
  • Engage in typical supervisory responsibilities with regards to planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO inventory management
  • Assist in the establishment and leadership of the plant's safety objectives
  • Ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain required certifications
  • Perform 6S and BBS processes and quality audits
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Ensure employees are following the JSAs and confront any unsafe acts observed
  • Positively communication changes in business situations (ie: schedules, policies, etc)
  • Completes and delivers annual performance and promotion reviews
  • Required to serve as a member of the emergency response team with training required in the following: emergency response, First Aid, CPR, BBP and fir extinguishing
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate degree, or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the integrated functions of manufacturing preferred
  • Must be a flexible, decisive and proactive problem solver
  • Must be able to work well in high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Must be a strong communicator
  • Must possess a strong customer service orientation and must provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once
  • Must be proficient at conflict resolution
  • Must have solid interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate employees to interact positively with various departments throughout the organization
  • Must be resourceful, can find solutions to unusual problems and meet customer needs
  • Must have good understanding of material flow in a manufacturing environment


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Fully onsite based
