JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Web Development Manager with a proven track record in both leadership and technical expertise to guide our web development initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our digital presence, a critical aspect of our brand identity and customer engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing environment for both front-end and back-end web development teams.

  • Ensure teams have access to the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary for successful project delivery.

  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional growth.

Project Management:

  • Interface with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical actions.

  • Create and manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to guarantee on-time and quality project completion.

  • Identify project risks and devise contingency plans.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Enhance team integration by promoting open communication with design, UX/UI, marketing, and IT departments.

  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on project development, potential challenges, and emerging opportunities.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge exchange.

Technical Direction:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end web technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.).

  • Direct the evolution of web experiences leveraging tools like CMS (WordPress VIP), marketing automation (Marketo), and others.

  • Provide technical oversight, assist with complex problem-solving, and uphold the development of scalable solutions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish rigorous QA protocols to ensure exceptional website quality in terms of usability, accessibility, and performance.

  • Oversee testing activities, from strategy to execution, in collaboration with QA teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent.

  • At least 10 years of experience in web development with significant time spent leading development teams.

  • Expertise in web technologies, frameworks, and tools; direct experience with specific technologies such as WordPress VIP, Marketo, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$85,000 - $212,800
