Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite for our client in Rochester, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • We need an individual to support the Electromagnetic testing of our next generation of Tactical and Public safety radio products, ancillaries, and custom systems.
  • Responsibilities include setting up radio/test equipment, testing, and generating reports on EMI/EMC tests to MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, DO-106G, and related commercial standards.
  • The individual will also assist in maintaining tools, software and equipment for EMI testing in anechoic chambers.
  • The individual will aid in pre-qualification testing during each product development phase, assist engineers in improving the product, and perform formal qualification testing to customer requirements.

  • Hours: 9/80 Hrs/Wk 1st Shift
  • Length: Temp (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Electrical.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in EMI EMC or electrical test background in MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 (Or CISPR).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Project Scheduling

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Project management
  • TEMPEST test background
  • Able to balance multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills with different levels of corporate hierarchy.
  • Able to interact with the test team and external product engineers
