Voter Engagement Intern - Saint Paul, MN

Pay: $17 per hour

Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week for 6 months beginning in June.

Shift times: Daytime tabling shifts at health centers. Occasional weekends and evenings. Ability to do some work remotely.

Location: Vandalia Health Center

Job type: Non-Exempt

Travel: Ability to travel to Vandalia and Lagoon health centers. Ability to travel throughout the metro area to attend community engagement events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Applicants should have a strong interest in civic engagement, community outreach, and organizing with youth populations
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable method of transportation

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead voter registration and education efforts in health centers and at community events
  • Lead civic engagement efforts to strengthen and build youth supporter network
  • Engage young people in voter registration and pre-registration activities on their campuses
  • Track, manage, and report data
  • Ensure engagement goals are met
